Voceros del Fiscal de Lyon a cargo de la investigación del linchamiento de Quentin; Thierry Dran, manifestaron a la Consultora Internacional JMH que hoy lunes 16 de febrero de 2026, se abrió una investigación por homicidio voluntario y violencia agravada. En este momento se está buscando al menos a seis agresores que participaron en el linchamiento.
Spokespeople for the Lyon prosecutor in charge of the investigation into Quentin's lynching, Thierry Dran, told the JMH International Consulting firm that an investigation for voluntary manslaughter and aggravated violence was opened on Monday, February 16, 2026. At least six assailants who participated in the lynching are currently being sought.
La autopsia reveló un traumatismo craneoencefálico grave que no podía revertirse con cirugía y que iba a causarle la muerte a Quentin en un futuro inmediato.
"Las imágenes difundidas muestran un ataque en manada de al menos seis personas que saben perfectamente que están matando a otro. Quentin está exánime en el piso y sin posibilidad de reacción. Nadie se acerca a ayudar ni a poner un límite. Los agresores como lobos, le siguen pegando y nadie parece poner un freno. Seguros de haber obtenido lo que buscaban, los asesinos se retiran y el chico queda tendido en el suelo en estado grave. Semejante brutalidad no puede quedar impune".

The autopsy revealed severe head trauma that could not be reversed with surgery and would have caused Quentin's death in the immediate future.
"The released images show a pack attack by at least six people who know perfectly well they are killing another. Quentin lies lifeless on the floor, unable to react. No one approaches to help or intervene. The attackers, like wolves, continue to beat him, and no one seems to stop them. Confident they have achieved their goal, the murderers leave, and the boy is left lying on the ground in critical condition. Such brutality cannot go unpunished."
