The joint US-Israeli attacks on Iran have triggered an escalation of tensions in the Middle East, including the death of Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Following the initial attacks and Iran's retaliatory actions, as well as the threat of further incidents, Apple has decided to close its stores in the UAE.
The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization recommends teleworking for the private sector and advises against employees being in open areas.
In response to the advisory, Apple has closed its five stores in the UAE. This includes its flagship store in Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates, Yas Mall, Al Maryah Island, and Al Jimi Mall.
