El Tribunal de Responsabilidad Penal Juvenil N° 1 de La Plata declaró culpable al adolescente acusado de matar a Kim Gómez (7) durante un robo.

La Fiscalía había pedido 23 años y 4 meses de prisión. Mientras que la defensa insistió en que se trató de un homicidio culposo y solicitó 7 años. La pena se dará a conocer el 16 de marzo, pero se especula que guardará relación con la pena pedida por la Fiscalía.
Los jueces Marcelo Giorgis, Juan Carlos Estrada y Guillermo Mercenaro dieron por probado que el joven tuvo responsabilidad penal en el hecho ocurrido el 25 de febrero de 2025.
Tobías Godoy, que hoy tiene 18 años, fue considerado como coautor penalmente responsable del delito de homicidio en ocasión de robo.
El papá de Kim, en la previa del veredicto, expresó: “Estoy tranquilo. Es un día importante. Esto marca un antes y un después. Los chicos no van a salir a lastimar como lo hicieron con mi nena”.
(El asesino)“Hoy debería estar en la escuela, con sus amigos. ¿Dónde está la familia del chico para mostrar su empatía? Criaron un monstruo. No deberían pasar estas cosas. Los chicos pueden ser muy buenos, pero si no hacemos cosas como padres para ayudarlos, es muy complicado“, dijo entre lágrimas el padre de la niña.
Así fue el brutal crimen de Kim Gómez:
El hecho ocurrió el 25 de febrero de 2025, en la localidad de Altos de San Lorenzo, en La Plata. Kim Gómez viajaba en el asiento trasero del auto que manejaba su mamá cuando dos adolescentes la interceptaron para robarle el vehículo.
En medio del asalto, los delincuentes se subieron al auto y escaparon a toda velocidad, sin detenerse, a pesar de que la nena había quedado enganchada con el cinturón de seguridad.
Durante la huida, Kim fue arrastrada por varias cuadras por las calles del barrio. El recorrido terminó cuando el auto chocó, pero para ese momento la niña ya había sufrido gravísimas heridas. Murió poco después como consecuencia del arrastre.
Tras el crimen, los sospechosos fueron detenidos. Uno de ellos, por tener 17 al momento del hecho, fue el único que llegó a juicio oral y terminó siendo condenado. El otro menor tenía 14 años y fue declarado inimputable.

This is how the brutal murder of Kim Gómez unfolded:
The incident occurred on February 25, 2025, in the Altos de San Lorenzo neighborhood of La Plata. Kim Gómez was traveling in the back seat of the car her mother was driving when two teenagers intercepted them to steal the vehicle.
During the robbery, the criminals got into the car and sped away, without stopping, even though the girl was still strapped in with her seatbelt.
During the escape, Kim was dragged for several blocks through the neighborhood streets. The ordeal ended when the car crashed, but by then the girl had already suffered extremely serious injuries. She died shortly afterward as a result of being dragged.
After the crime, the suspects were arrested. One of them, who was 17 at the time of the incident, was the only one who went to trial and was ultimately convicted. The other minor was 14 years old and was declared not criminally responsible.
