El cese de la funcionaria se produce después de la muerte de dos ciudadanos estadounidenses en Minneapolis a manos de agentes migratorios del ICE que desencadenaron furiosas protestas.

Noem's dismissal comes after the deaths of two US citizens in Minneapolis at the hands of ICE immigration agents, which sparked furious protests.
"I am pleased to announce that the highly respected US Senator from the great State of Oklahoma, Markwayne Mullin, will assume the position of United States Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS) effective March 31, 2026," President Trump said on his social media platform, Truth.
