La Organización Mundial Bullying Sin Fronteras confirma que el ataque en el Instituto Obispo Silva de Calama, Antofagasta, Chile ocurrió cerca de las 10:30 horas de este viernes 27 de marzo de 2026. El alumno de 18 años era parte de ese establecimiento educacional y mató a una docente, hiriendo gravemente a otros cuatro estudiantes del establecimiento. Dos de ellos están graves.

The 18-year-old student, who attended the school, killed a teacher and seriously injured four other students. Two of them are in critical condition.
Fuentes del Ministerio Público Fiscal de Antofagasta, confirmaron a BSF que dos de las cuatro personas que resultaron heridas en el ataque se encuentran en condición grave.
El atacante resultó detenido tras el hecho. Asimismo, se confirmó que hubo un allanamiento judicial en el hogar del joven de 18 años, autor del ataque, donde se secuestraron elementos importantes para la investigación.
El agresor cursaba 4° Medio y aún no se conoce la motivación del ataque.
El fiscal regional de Antofagasta, Juan Castro Bekios, brindó a BSF nuevos detalles del ataque que se registró en horas de la mañana de este viernes.
El Fiscal consignó que "un alumno de dicho establecimiento, de cuarto medio, adulto, de 18 años de edad, habría en primer lugar agredido con un arma cortopunzante a una inspectora de dicho establecimiento, lesiones que lamentablemente provocaron su fallecimiento".
Asimismo señaló; "posteriormente agrede a una personal paradocente que trató de auxiliar a esta víctima, resultando también herida de gravedad".
"Posterior a ello se habrían desarrollado otras agresiones, unos metros más allá del primer lugar de los hechos, donde agrede al menos a tres menores de edad del mismo establecimiento educacional, uno de ellos con lesiones de gravedad", complementó.
El Fiscal detalló que "dos personas se encuentran bastante graves", que correspondería a "la persona paradocente" y "uno de los alumnos del colegio".
CHILE: Existe la posibilidad de que los cargos sean desestimados al finalizar la investigación, por lo cual NO se debe considerar al o los imputados como culpables hasta que la Justicia dicte sentencia en su contra.

Sources from the Antofagasta Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed to BSF that two of the four people injured in the attack are in critical condition.
The attacker was arrested after the incident. It was also confirmed that a court-ordered search warrant was executed at the home of the 18-year-old perpetrator, where evidence important to the investigation was seized.
The aggressor was a 12th-grade student, and the motive for the attack is still unknown.
The regional prosecutor of Antofagasta, Juan Castro Bekios, provided BSF with new details about the attack that occurred on Friday morning. The prosecutor stated that "an 18-year-old student from the aforementioned school, a senior in high school, allegedly first attacked a female inspector with a bladed weapon, injuries that unfortunately resulted in her death."
He further stated, "subsequently, he attacked a teaching assistant who tried to help the victim, also sustaining serious injuries."
"Following this, other attacks allegedly took place a few meters from the initial scene, where he assaulted at least three minors from the same school, one of them with serious injuries," he added.
The prosecutor detailed that "two people are in very serious condition," referring to "the teaching assistant" and "one of the students from the school."
CHILE: There is a possibility that the charges will be dismissed at the end of the investigation, therefore the accused should NOT be considered guilty until a court issues a sentence against them.
