Este viernes está llevándose a cabo la autopsia del joven en el instituto de medicina legal de Cataluña, para determinar de manera concreta las causas de la muerte. Su padre, el abogado Taras Gracey, se encuentra en Barcelona siguiendo el desarrollo de la investigación por la muerte de su hijo.
Gracey llevaba unos días de vacaciones en Barcelona, aprovechando el spring break (vacaciones de primavera) de la univerdad de Alabama, donde estudiaba contabilidad. Junto a sus amigos había ido a la disco Shoko y en ese momento se le perdió de vista.

Security cameras in the area show the American university student walking alone towards the pier area from a distance and falling into the water, without the intervention of anyone else, according to police sources.
The young man's autopsy is being carried out this Friday at the Institute of Legal Medicine of Catalonia to determine the exact cause of death. His father, lawyer Taras Gracey, is in Barcelona following the investigation into his son's death.
Gracey had been on vacation in Barcelona for a few days, taking advantage of spring break from the University of Alabama, where he was studying accounting. She had gone to the Shoko nightclub with her friends, and at that moment she disappeared.
