El robo con sumisión química se perpetró en el hotel Smart, ubicado en la calle Fray Justo Santa María de Oro al 1.800, donde la pareja había ido junto al turista, quien horas después radicó la denuncia correspondiente.
Según su relato, fue al hotel junto a dos personas que había conocido en una disco de Palermo. Permanecieron en la habitación consumiendo bebidas, en un momento se quedó dormido y al despertar, cerca del mediodía, se encontraba solo y advirtió el faltante de su pasaporte y de un reloj Rólex de 26 mil dólares.

Los ataques de viudas negras en el Área Metropolitana de Buenos Aires no para de crecer y en lo que va del 2025 ya se realizaron más de 5.000 denuncias, aunque los expertos aseguran que el número de casos es aun mayor. La cifra de víctimas se mantuvo en 25 muertos y en total ya se robaron más de $1.000 millones.
En los últimos años dicha modalidad comenzó a tener mayor resonancia a nivel nacional, pero en el AMBA la situación es aun más grave ya que en casi ocho meses del año se realizaron más de 5.000 denuncias.
El último informe de la ONG Defendamos Buenos Aires al que accedió la agencia Noticias Argentinas indica que son 25 los fallecidos por los diversos ataques y que las delincuentes se robaron más de $1.000 millones.
“Las viudas negras constituyen el mayor temor criminal para los hombres en la Argentina", expresó Javier Miglino, Director de la ONG.
Otro punto que destacó Miglino es que hace cinco años apenas había casos, pero en el último tiempo las redes sociales tuvieron mucho que ver: “Los bares y boliches siguen siendo la mayor zona de ataque, pero ahora el 50% de las víctimas caen por aplicaciones como Tinder”.
Todos los hechos tienen el mismo modus operandi. La mujer, en la mayoría de los casos, seduce a un hombre; luego este último la invita a su domicilio y ya dentro de la vivienda consumen más alcohol, momento en el que la ladrona le coloca alguna sustancia en la bebida para que se duerma y así concretar el robo.
“Actualmente los medicamentos se consiguen en el mercado negro y se usa mucha ketamina, tranquilizantes y hasta clonazepam”, señaló Miglino.
El último caso resonante de dicha modalidad que finalizó con una víctima sucedió cuando a mediados de julio se conoció la muerte de Jonathan Quispe Quenta, un joven de 19 años nacionalidad boliviana, que falleció tras ser atacado por mujeres que conoció en un boliche de Liniers.
Ese caso, según pudo saber este medio, continúa impune y las acusadas se habrían fugado del país.

The robbery, which involved drugging, took place at the Smart Hotel, located on Fray Justo Santa María de Oro Street at number 1800, where the couple had gone with the tourist, who filed a police report hours later.
According to his account, he went to the hotel with two people he had met at a Palermo nightclub. They stayed in the room drinking. At one point, he fell asleep, and when he woke up around noon, he was alone and noticed his passport and a $26,000 Rolex watch were missing.

Another point Miglino emphasized is that five years ago there were hardly any cases, but recently social media has played a significant role: “Bars and nightclubs continue to be the main target areas, but now 50% of the victims fall victim through apps like Tinder.”
All the incidents follow the same modus operandi. In most cases, the woman seduces a man; he then invites her to his home, and once inside, they consume more alcohol. At this point, the thief slips a substance into his drink to make him fall asleep, thus enabling her to carry out the robbery.
"Currently, the drugs are obtained on the black market, and ketamine, tranquilizers, and even clonazepam are frequently used," Miglino stated.
The most recent high-profile case of this type that resulted in a victim occurred in mid-July when Jonathan Quispe Quenta, a 19-year-old Bolivian national, died after being attacked by women he met at a nightclub in Liniers.
According to information obtained by this publication, that case remains unsolved, and the accused women have reportedly fled the country.
