Bullying in New York. A 14-year-old boy stepped on a female classmate. She is in serious condition.

The World Organization Bullying Without Borders confirms a horrific bullying incident in New York, perpetrated by a 14-year-old boy who stepped on the head of a 15-year-old classmate due to prior bullying and harassment. A classmate filmed the entire incident. Both are in custody.
The victim's mother, Lucinda Arroyo, told BSF that the assailant, 14-year-old Najeir Allen, attends East Harlem Scholars Academy Charter School, the same school her daughter attends, and had been bullying her for some time.

The brutal attack occurred at East 107th Street and Third Avenue around 3:30 p.m., just after school let out in the Upper Manhattan neighborhood.

Severe Concussion:

"The photo doesn't show the level of violence inflicted on the girl on the floor. The aggressor, much larger than the teenager, had previously lifted her and thrown her to the ground. Once she was down, he stomped on her head with such force that the victim is hospitalized with a severe concussion, and there is no optimistic medical prognosis, at least for the moment, as confirmed to us by the medical department in charge of the case. The aggressor is in custody along with another classmate who filmed and celebrated the incident. Bullying Without Borders will never publish the video, for obvious reasons, but it is chilling. It's yet another example of how bullying is a monster that is killing right now, and we must all make a great effort to stop and eliminate it," said Dr. Javier Miglino Helfenstein, Human Rights and Child Protection Expert.

Cyberbullying on Instagram:

The New York Juvenile Prosecutor's Office confirmed to BSF that it has opened a case for assault and battery against the minor. The school stated it was cooperating with the investigation and expressed its concern about what happened, while parents and community leaders demanded measures to prevent further episodes of violence among children. Psychological support was offered to the victim, and the school's internal protocols were reinforced.

The video went viral on Instagram, and authorities urged caution when sharing it, reminding the public that disseminating sensitive images could harm the victim and hinder the ongoing investigation.

More to come.
