The Lehman High School baseball season will continue despite the bullying investigation.
The Hays County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation into bullying complaints filed by the students' parents, including a video that, according to the district, shows clear violations of expected student behavior and possibly violations of the law.
One video in particular is serious:
Sources close to the investigation confirmed to BSF that a video shows at least one student in the locker room simulating a sexual act with a student with a disability while others watch, film, and applaud.
Lehman High School head coach Jacob Kaase, who also teaches math at the school, will remain on leave until the district determines whether his players were properly supervised at the time of the incident. According to the Hays Consolidated Independent School District, Kaase does not appear in the video.
The district reported that it suspended 10 students after parents alerted the school and authorities about bullying incidents.
