La Organización Mundial Bullying Sin Fronteras confirmó que en la localidad de San Cristóbal, Santa Fe, Argentina; previo al homicidio de Ian Cabrera, se produjo un gravísimo otro episodio de bullying con una chica de 15 años que tiene el rostro desfigurado por los cortes con cuchillo que recibió de parte de una banda de agresores.

El ataque fue perpetrado el 1° de enero de 2026 cerca de las 21 horas, dejó al descubierto un caso extremo de bullying que culminó en un intento de homicidio. La chica fue interceptada por un grupo de cinco agresores, que son compañeros de la escuela donde la chica cursa sus estudios, mientras la víctima se dirigía al kiosco del barrio.
La palabra de Luciana, la mamá:
Según relató Luciana, madre de la víctima, su hija había sido blanco de constantes hostigamientos, amenazas y persecuciones en la escuela y durante meses.
"La venían hostigando desde hacía meses, con bullying, amenazas y persecuciones constantes", expresó con indignación Luciana a la Organización Mundial Bullying Sin Fronteras. Sin embargo y a pesar de las reiteradas advertencias de la familia sobre esta situación, no hubo intervención alguna para proteger a la adolescente de parte de las autoridades de la escuela.
Las agresoras son grupo de cinco compañeros:
El ataque fue llevado a cabo por dos varones y tres mujeres, quienes acorralaron a la chica en plena calle, armados con cuchillos. "La intención principal era cortarle el cuello. La querían matar", aseguró la madre. En medio del horror, la víctima logró llegar al kiosco en busca de ayuda, pero sus ruegos fueron completamente ignorados: "Le cerraron la ventana. La dejaron sola frente a cinco personas", denunció Luciana, dejando en evidencia la indiferencia de quienes pudieron haber intervenido.
Los gritos desesperados de la joven alertaron a los vecinos, quienes actuaron rápidamente para evitar un desenlace fatal. La adolescente fue trasladada de urgencia al Hospital de San Cristóbal y luego derivada a Rafaela, Provincia de Santa Fe, para recibir atención especializada. Aunque ahora se encuentra fuera de peligro, las heridas en su rostro requerirán la evaluación de un cirujano estético porque la desfigurarión es definitiva.
Ya hubo otros episodios graves:
Según Luciana, mamá de la víctima, los agresores ya habían protagonizado episodios violentos similares. "No fue un hecho aislado. Los agresores se jactaban de golpear a otros jóvenes y difundían los videos como trofeos en redes sociales", reveló. "Se graban cuando golpean a alguien y lo suben como si fuera una hazaña", agregó con indignación.
Hay tres detenidos por el ataque:
Hasta el momento, solo tres de los cinco atacantes están detenidos (tienen entre 16 y 18 años) mientras que los otros dos permanecen prófugos. A esto se suman las amenazas que la familia recibió por parte de los familiares de los agresores, quienes niegan los hechos a pesar de la existencia de testigos y grabaciones de cámaras de seguridad. "Si no se actúa, van a terminar matando a alguien", advirtió Luciana.

Luciana, the mother, spoke out:
According to Luciana, the victim's mother, her daughter had been the target of constant harassment, threats, and stalking at school for months. The young woman's desperate screams alerted the neighbors, who acted quickly to prevent a fatal outcome. The teenager was rushed to San Cristóbal Hospital and then transferred to Rafaela, Santa Fe Province, for specialized care. Although she is now out of danger, the injuries to her face will require evaluation by a plastic surgeon because the disfigurement is permanent.

La Organización Mundial Bullying Sin Fronteras confirma que el adolescente asesinado por un compañero en Santa Fe, Argentina es Ian Cabrera, un chico de 13 años.
The World Organization Bullying Without Borders confirms that the teenager killed by a classmate in Santa Fe, Argentina, is Ian Cabrera, a 13-year-old boy.
El agresor de 15 años llevó una escopeta a la Escuela Nro. 40 Mariano Moreno, dentro de la funda de una guitarra.
La escopeta utilizada es de calibre 12/70. Disparó en cuatro ocasiones, matando a Ian e hiriendo a dos compañeros más que se encuentran internados en el Hospital Regional Dr. Jaime Ferré de la ciudad de Rafaela. Ambos están fuera de peligro.
Un asistente escolar impidió más muertes:
De acuerdo a lo confirmado por las autoridades a Bullying Sin Fronteras, un asistente escolar logró abalanzarse sobre el atacante y le quitó la escopeta. Luego, la policía se llevó detenido al adolescente.
Duelo escolar:
Tras el ataque, las autoridades dispusieron asueto y duelo en la comunidad educativa, además de la suspensión de todas las actividades programadas para la semana. Asimismo, se inició un trabajo investigativo para esclarecer las circunstancias del hecho.
Un testigo relató:
“Metió la escopeta en un estuche de guitarra, salió del baño, gritó ‘sorpresa’ y empezó a los tiros. Primero quería matar a los amigos y, como no estaban, empezó a tirar a toda la escuela”.
Luego, el alumno explica que, cuando le sacaron el arma “empezó a correr” y al ser detenido “empezó a reírse y dijo que quería matar a toda la escuela”.
Qué dijo el Gobierno de Santa Fe:
El gobernador Maximiliano Pullaro, afirmó que “inmediatamente tras ocurrido el hecho suspendimos la actividad que teníamos”. “Están viajando funcionarios, además del equipo de víctimas del Ministerio de Seguridad, para acompañar a las familias y a la comunidad educativa en este momento tan duro y trágico”, concluyó el funcionario.
Hay una investigación criminal en marcha por el delito de homicidio y lesiones pero conforme las características del ataque mortal, perpetrado en una escuela y por un alumno, la información aún es reservada.

The 15-year-old assailant brought a shotgun to School No. 40 Mariano Moreno inside a guitar case.
The shotgun used was a 12/70 gauge. He fired four times, killing Ian and wounding two other classmates who are hospitalized at the Dr. Jaime Ferré Regional Hospital in the city of Rafaela. Both are out of danger.
A school staff member prevented further deaths:
According to confirmation from authorities to Bullying Without Borders, a school staff member managed to tackle the attacker and take the shotgun from him. The police then arrested the teenager.
Mourning at the school:
Following the attack, authorities declared a day of mourning and closure for the school community, in addition to suspending all activities scheduled for the week. An investigation has been launched to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
A witness recounted:
“He put the shotgun in a guitar case, came out of the bathroom, yelled ‘surprise,’ and started shooting. He initially wanted to kill his friends, and when they weren't there, he started shooting at the entire school.”
The student explained that when the weapon was taken from him, “he started running,” and upon being apprehended, “he began laughing and said he wanted to kill the whole school.”
What the Santa Fe government said:
Governor Maximiliano Pullaro stated that “immediately after the incident, we suspended all scheduled activities.” “Officials, along with the victims' support team from the Ministry of Security, are traveling to support the families and the school community during this difficult and tragic time,” the official concluded.
A criminal investigation is underway for homicide and assault, but given the nature of the deadly attack, perpetrated in a school by a student, the information is still being kept confidential.
