'Andrea', nombre ficticio, presenció cómo su mejor amiga dejaba el colegio tras ser acosada por dos compañeras. Fue expulsada tras pedir explicaciones.
El hostigamiento continuo se cebaba con algunos de los estudiantes. El "puta gorda" y "maricón" estaban a la orden del día en el elitista colegio de origen británico.
La reciente gestión de las finanzas, las reestructuraciones, la venta de activos y la comunicación interna desplegada por el Equipo Directivo Superior del British Council en el Reino Unido llegó a tener 298 empleados en España pero en este momento está abocado a cambiar de nombre. Apunta a ser conocido como The British School/El Colegio Británico pero aún le persiguen las acusaciones de decenas de alumnos que estuvieron con la anterior directiva. Denuncian mensajes vejatorios, humillaciones públicas y una jerarquía social donde grupos como Las Puris o Las Intocables, formados por alumnas con apellidos ilustres, podían vejar a los compañeros sin castigos.
Los episodios de bullying en 'el británico':
«Lo vivido allí fue horrible. Lo peor es la impotencia que sientes», señala 'Andrea', que perdió 13 kilos por una anorexia nerviosa. Ella ha llevado su caso hasta el Juzgado de Instrucción Número 3 de Pozuelo de Alarcón. Denuncia al propio colegio y a varios profesores por presunto «acoso vertical» después de que ella saliera en defensa de su mejor amiga, que dejó el colegio por acoso.
El Gobierno británico tiene a diez abogados personados en Pozuelo para defender a los directivos del British en este caso. Presentó una medida contrapericial diciendo que la anorexia de 'Andrea' no era consecuencia de ningún acoso, si no de la pandemia y de los cánones de belleza adolescentes.
"En pleno 2026 sabemos que muchos colegios elitistas de todo el mundo tienen tendencia a ocultar el bullying. No le sirve a la institución que los casos de hostigamiento escolar trasciendan los muros del instituto por eso el bullying y el ciberbullying siguen matando a niños y adolescentes. La soledad, la tristeza y el miedo, tal los venenos que nutren al bullying y lo hacen letal, reciben la ayuda del silencio institucional en colegios que prefieren pagar abogados y especialistas en relaciones públicas a enfrentar al monstruo del bullying. Como leíamos ayer en el testimonio de Sami Sheen, hija del exitoso actor Charlie Sheen y la actriz Denise Richards; es una ley universal no escrita que cuando la violencia del bullying y del ciberbullying llegan a una joven esa violencia incide en el aspecto físico, entonces las víctimas tratan de cambiar esas características que provocan ese acoso, con intervenciones quirúrgicas de cirujía plástica y otras. Tapando y enmascarando al bullying solo lo vuelven más peligroso", dijo el Dr. Javier Miglino Helfenstein, Director Mundial de Bullying Sin Fronteras.

'Andrea', a pseudonym, witnessed her best friend leave school after being harassed by two classmates. She was expelled after demanding an explanation.
The constant harassment targeted some of the students. The insults "fat whore" and "faggot" were commonplace at the elite British-owned school.
The recent financial management, restructuring, asset sales, and internal communication implemented by the British Council's Senior Management Team in the United Kingdom led to the organization having 298 employees in Spain, but it is now facing a name change. It aims to be known as The British School, but it is still dogged by accusations from dozens of students who attended the previous administration. They denounce derogatory messages, public humiliation, and a social hierarchy where groups like Las Puris or Las Intocables, made up of students with prominent surnames, could bully their classmates with impunity.
The bullying incidents at 'the British School':
"What I experienced there was horrible. The worst part is the helplessness you feel," says 'Andrea,' who lost 13 kilos due to anorexia nervosa. She has taken her case to the Court of Instruction Number 3 in Pozuelo de Alarcón. She is suing the school itself and several teachers for alleged "vertical harassment" after she defended her best friend, who left the school due to bullying.
The British government has ten lawyers in Pozuelo to defend the British School's management in this case. She presented a counter-expert report stating that 'Andrea's' anorexia was not a consequence of bullying, but rather of the pandemic and adolescent beauty standards.
