La peligrosa secuencia ocurrió durante una excursión de trekking en el Circuito Chico de San Carlos de Bariloche. Allí, mientras realizaba una caminata, Marina Korb vio un pequeño ratón caminando por el pasto, tomó su celular y comenzó a grabar.
"Qué hermoso, ¿No lo puedo tocar?", se la escucha preguntar, mientras se la ve acercarse al pequeño roedor. Primero, lo acaricia con un dedo. El ratón huye ante una sorpresa, pero luego de un pequeño corte se lo ve ya en confianza, dejándose tocar por la tiktoker, que exclama "qué lindo, encima es re suavecito".
Un nuevo corte muestra a la joven influencer ya sosteniendo al animal en una de sus manos, que se acurruca como para ponerse a dormir. Durante el video, la chica incluso sugiere que consideró adoptar al roedor y hasta se pregunta qué nombre podría ponerle.
¿Cómo es el ratón colilargo, transmisor natural de mortal hantavirus Andes?
Conocido científicamente como Oligoryzomys longicaudatus, el ratón “colilargo”, que debe su nombre a su cola, que es más larga que la longitud de su cuerpo, es un pequeño animal silvestre de color café claro y vive en todo Chile y en el sur de Argentina. Pero más trascendental que ello resulta ser su condición de transmisor de la cepa Andes, la variante de hantavirus mortal que mató 11 personas en poco tiempo en Epuyén, Chubut y que hoy tiene en vilo al mundo entero, luego de la serie de contagios en el crucero MV Hondius, donde hubo al menos tres muertos.

The dangerous sequence occurred during a trekking excursion in the Circuito Chico of San Carlos de Bariloche. There, while on a walk, Marina Korb saw a small mouse walking through the grass, she took her cell phone and started recording.
"How beautiful, can't I touch it?" she is heard asking, while she is seen approaching the small rodent. First, she strokes it with a finger. The mouse runs away from a surprise, but after a small cut he is already confident, allowing himself to be touched by the TikToker, who exclaims "how cute, on top of that he's really soft."
A new cut shows the young influencer already holding the animal in one of her hands, which curls up as if to go to sleep. During the video, the girl even suggests that she considered adopting the rodent and even wonders what name she could give him.

Known scientifically as Oligoryzomys longicaudatus, the “long-tailed” mouse, which owes its name to its tail, which is longer than the length of its body, is a small, light brown wild animal that lives throughout Chile and southern Argentina. But more transcendental than this turns out to be its status as a transmitter of the Andes strain, the deadly hantavirus variant that killed 11 people in a short time in Epuyén, Chubut and that today has the entire world in suspense, after the series of infections on the MV Hondius cruise ship, where there were at least three deaths.
