Gabriel tenía una enorme base de seguidores en línea a través de videos de entrenamiento, contenido de físico culturismo y publicaciones motivacionales de vida sana.
Gabriel siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar y tenía una postura muy firme contra el bullying y el ciberbullying. Muchos recuerdan con emoción su mensaje hace pocos días por el 'Dos de Mayo, Día Mundial contra el Bullying'. En ese momento no solo felicitó a la Organización Mundial Bullying Sin Fronteras por haber creado la efemérides sino que también ofició de embajador en Brasil contra el bullying, un problema que genera tiroteos y muertes en el país carioca.
El informe policial de la muerte de Gabriel:
Fuentes ligadas a la Policía de São Paulo manifestaron al Consorcio Internacional de Periodistas JMH que Gabriel fue encontrado en su departamento de São Paulo, Brasil, sin signos de violeencia pero investigan la muerte como 'muerte dudosa', por considerarla sospechosa y repentina.
Aún no se ha determinado la causa oficial de su muerte.
La noticia del fallecimiento de Gabriel fue anunciada inicialmente por la empresa de suplementos Integralmédica, uno de sus patrocinadores.
"Hoy hemos perdido mucho más que un atleta talentoso y dedicado", escribió la empresa. "Hemos perdido a un influencer deportivo que inspiraba a miles de jóvenes a diario con su energía, disciplina y autenticidad".

Gabriel was always willing to help and had a very firm stance against bullying and cyberbullying. Many remember with emotion his message a few days ago for 'May 2nd, World Day Against Bullying'. At that time, he not only congratulated the World Organization Bullying Without Borders for creating the commemoration but also served as an ambassador in Brazil against bullying, a problem that leads to shootings and deaths in the country.

Sources linked to the São Paulo Police told the JMH International Consortium of Journalists that Gabriel was found in his apartment in São Paulo, Brazil, with no signs of violence, but they are investigating his death as "suspicious" due to its sudden and suspicious nature.
