El principal objetivo fue nuevamente la refinería de Kapotnya, una instalación estratégica ubicada en el sureste de la capital rusa. Las autoridades locales confirmaron que varios drones lograron alcanzar el complejo energético.
El presidente ucraniano, Volodímir Zelenski, confirmó la operación al Consorcio Internacional de Periodistas JMH. Según Kiev, estas acciones buscan debilitar la capacidad logística y económica de Moscú para sostener la guerra.
El ataque también provocó restricciones temporales en varios aeropuertos de la región metropolitana y volvió a poner en evidencia la vulnerabilidad de zonas consideradas hasta hace poco alejadas del frente de combate.
Mientras tanto, residentes de distintos suburbios de Moscú reportaron explosiones, drones sobrevolando áreas residenciales y densas columnas de humo visibles desde varios kilómetros de distancia. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed the operation to the JMH International Consortium of Journalists. According to Kyiv, these actions aim to weaken Moscow's logistical and economic capacity to sustain the war.
The attack also caused temporary restrictions at several airports in the metropolitan region and once again highlighted the vulnerability of areas considered until recently to be far from the front lines.
Meanwhile, residents of various Moscow suburbs reported explosions, drones flying over residential areas, and dense plumes of smoke visible from several kilometers away.
