Los aficionados que lograron hacerse con una entrada para el partido —la más económica superaba los 4.000 dólares el día del propio juego— ingresaron al perímetro restringido a través de cinco puntos de acceso, donde fueron sometidos a controles similares a los utilizados en los aeropuertos. Y para ello, debían llegar al estadio al menos dos horas antes del salto inicial. No podían portar ningún tipo de bolsa, alcohol ni selfie sticks, entre otros artículos prohibidos por motivos de seguridad.
Este lunes, Donald Trump, fue invitado por el propietario del equipo de la Gran Manzana. Pasó el partido en un palco rodeado de cristales antibalas construido expresamente para su visita.
Al partido también se presentó el alcalde de Nueva York, el socialista nacido en Uganda y de fe musulmana Zohran Mamdani. A diferencia de Trump, el regidor progresista compró una entrada de pie para el encuentro. Según contó a los periodistas el lunes por la mañana, pagó alrededor de mil dólares por su boleto.

Fans who managed to get a ticket for the game—the cheapest costing over $4,000 on the day of the game—entered the restricted area through five access points, where they underwent security checks similar to those used at airports. To gain entry, they had to arrive at the arena at least two hours before tip-off. They were prohibited from carrying any bags, alcohol, or selfie sticks, among other items banned for security reasons.
This Monday, Donald Trump was invited by the owner of the New York team. He watched the game from a box surrounded by bulletproof glass, built specifically for his visit.
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a Ugandan-born socialist and Muslim, also attended the match. Unlike Trump, the progressive mayor bought a standing-room ticket. He told reporters on Monday morning that he paid around $1,000 for his ticket.
