El oso negro de tamaño mediano, de aproximadamente un metro de largo, fue visto cerca de un parque el último sábado.
50.000 avistamientos de osos en Japón:
Las autoridades de la ciudad de Utsunomiya instan a los residentes a mantener sus puertas y ventanas cerradas con llave, a no acercarse al oso si lo ven y a refugiarse en el edificio más cercano. La ciudad también ha desplegado vehículos con megafonía para alertar a los residentes. La policía y la asociación local de cazadores reanudaron esta mañana la búsqueda del animal.
Este año se han registrado 50.000 avistamientos de osos en Japón, una cifra récord, concentrados en el noreste del país. Estos animales no suelen verse tan cerca de Tokio. Utsunomiya city authorities are urging residents to keep their doors and windows locked, not to approach the bear if they see it, and to take refuge in the nearest building. 東京、6月8日 国際ジャーナリスト連合（ICJ）JMH発 – 東京北部に位置する宇都宮市は、市内でクマが目撃されたことを受け、小中学校94校を休校とした。
体長約1メートルの中型のツキノワグマが、先週土曜日、公園付近で目撃された。
日本でクマの目撃件数5万件：
宇都宮市当局は、市民に対し、クマを見かけた場合はドアや窓を施錠し、近づかず、最寄りの建物に避難するよう呼びかけている。また、拡声器を搭載した車両を配備し、市民に注意喚起を行っている。警察と地元の猟友会は、今朝からクマの捜索を再開した。
今年、日本国内でクマの目撃件数が過去最多の5万件を記録しており、その多くは東北地方に集中している。クマが東京近郊で目撃されるのは異例のことだ。しかし先月、首都圏西端の奥多摩市でロシア人ハイカーがクマに襲われ負傷し、その後まもなく八王子市でもクマが目撃されました。
先週、福島県でクマが4人を襲い、会社のオフィスに侵入して従業員1人に怪我を負わせた後、工場に向かいました。工場からは内側から窓を開けて逃走したとみられています。
