VALENCIA. Junio 1. Consorcio Internacional de Periodistas JMH – Una profesora voló hacia el asfalto en Valencia, luego de que un Policía Nacional la empujó con toda mala intención. A teacher was thrown to the ground in Valencia after a National Police officer pushed her with malicious intent.
La víctima, profesora jubilada de 68 años, caminaba por la calzada de una avenida de Valencia, junto a otros compañeros que participaban en la protesta de docentes valencianos, cuando un agente antidisturbios la empujó fuertemente por la espalda, sin que ella fuera advertida ni se percatase de su presencia. Cayó de bruces, golpeándose la cara contra el suelo.
Ante el episodio violento, la delegada del Gobierno, Pilar Bernabé, y el subdelegado José Rodríguez Jurado se han reunido con los sindicatos convocantes de la huelga indefinida del profesorado en la enseñanza pública no universitaria -STEPV, UGT PV y CCOO PV-, en marcha desde el pasado 11 de mayo.
El Sindicato policial avala el atropello:
El sindicato Unión Federal de Policía manifestó en X/Twitter: “imagen responde a una actuación policial para evitar que corten las calles”, “apoyo al compañero” (“Si sales a cortar calles, te expones a que te retiren de ellas”). “Usted no va a investigar nada, en todo caso será un juez quien debe depurar responsabilidades”. En respuesta a varios cuestionamientos en la red de Elon Musk.
BSF se solidariza con la docente:
"Duele ver a una docente jubilada, de casi 70 años, golpeando el asfalto después de ser empujada por quien debería proteger a la ciudadanía. Duele porque no vemos solo a una mujer caer. Vemos caer, una vez más, el respeto por quienes dedicaron su vida a enseñar, a formar generaciones enteras, a construir una sociedad mejor desde las aulas. Una docente no deja de ser docente al jubilarse. Su legado vive en cada alumno, en cada enseñanza y en cada lección. Nada justifica que una persona mayor reciba un trato tan violento cuando no representa una amenaza. VALENCIA, June 1. International Consortium of Journalists JMH – A teacher was thrown to the ground in Valencia after a National Police officer pushed her with malicious intent.
The victim, a 68-year-old retired teacher, was walking along the road of an avenue in Valencia, alongside other colleagues participating in a protest by Valencian teachers, when a riot police officer forcefully pushed her from behind, without warning or her being aware of his presence. She fell face down, hitting her face on the ground.
In response to the violent incident, the Government Delegate, Pilar Bernabé, and the Deputy Delegate, José Rodríguez Jurado, met with the unions that called the indefinite strike of teachers in non-university public education – STEPV, UGT PV, and CCOO PV – which has been underway since May 11.
The police union endorses the abuse:
The Federal Police Union stated on Twitter: “The image shows a police action to prevent street blockades,” “I support my colleague” (“If you go out to block streets, you risk being removed from them”). “You're not going to investigate anything; in any case, it will be a judge who must determine responsibility.” This was in response to several questions on Elon Musk's social media.
BSF stands in solidarity with the teacher:
"It hurts to see a retired teacher, almost 70 years old, hitting the asphalt after being pushed by someone who should be protecting the public. It hurts because we don't just see a woman fall. We see, once again, the erosion of respect for those who dedicated their lives to teaching, to shaping entire generations, to building a better society from the classroom. A teacher doesn't cease to be a teacher upon retirement. Her legacy lives on in every student, in every lesson, and in every teaching. Nothing justifies such violent treatment of an elderly person when they pose no threat. That is why outrage is inevitable," said Dr. Javier Miglino Helfenstein, Human Rights and Child Protection Expert and Global Director of BSF.
