ペルーのナスカで、欧州の観光客を巻き込む航空機事故が発生。13人が死亡した。

ペルー・イカ州ナスカ近郊で、航空会社アエロディアナの小型機が墜落し、乗員・乗客合わせて13人全員が死亡したと当局が発表した。犠牲者のうち11人は、イタリア、ドイツ、スペインから訪れていたヨーロッパ人観光客だった。

同機はナスカの地上絵を遊覧する観光飛行中で、ピスコ空港を離陸した直後に管制塔との交信が途絶え、原因が明らかになっていないままナスカ市から約6キロ離れたプエブロ・ビエホ地区に墜落した。

目撃者によると、機体は急降下した後、地面に激突して大きな爆発を起こし炎上した。当局は事故原因の調査を進めている。

Una avioneta de la empresa Aerodiana se estrelló en las inmediaciones de Nasca, en la región peruana de Ica, causando la muerte de sus 13 ocupantes, informaron las autoridades. Entre las víctimas se encontraban once turistas europeos procedentes de Italia, Alemania y España.

An Aerodiana light aircraft crashed near Nasca in Peru's Ica region, killing all 13 people on board, authorities said. Eleven of the victims were European tourists from Italy, Germany and Spain.

La aeronave realizaba un vuelo turístico hacia los geoglifos de las Líneas de Nasca cuando, por causas que aún son materia de investigación, perdió contacto con la torre de control pocos minutos después de despegar del aeropuerto de Pisco y cayó en la zona de Pueblo Viejo, a unos seis kilómetros de la ciudad de Nasca.

Testigos indicaron que la avioneta se precipitó en picada y se incendió tras una fuerte explosión al impactar contra el terreno. Las autoridades iniciaron una investigación para determinar las causas del accidente.

An Aerodiana light aircraft crashed near Nasca in Peru's Ica region, killing all 13 people on board, authorities said. Eleven of the victims were European tourists from Italy, Germany and Spain.

The aircraft was operating a sightseeing flight to the Nazca Lines when, for reasons still under investigation, it lost contact with air traffic control shortly after taking off from Pisco Airport and crashed in the Pueblo Viejo area, about six kilometers from the city of Nasca.

Witnesses said the aircraft entered a steep dive before crashing and bursting into flames upon impact. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
