キャズウェル郡保安官事務所は、国際ジャーナリスト連合JMHに対し、4人が銃撃を受け、そのうち3人が死亡したことを確認した。保安官は、この事件について家庭内または家族間の暴力に関連した事案との見方を示した。

Tres personas murieron y al menos una más resultó herida en un tiroteo ocurrido en Prospect Hill, en el estado de Carolina del Norte, informaron las autoridades locales.
Three people were killed and at least one other was injured in a shooting in Prospect Hill, North Carolina, according to local authorities.
La Oficina de Investigación Estatal de Carolina del Norte (SBI) informó que fue requerida por la Oficina del Sheriff para colaborar en la investigación del incidente, registrado durante la madrugada en Brooks Road, en Prospect Hill.
Los agentes que acudieron al lugar hallaron a varias personas con heridas de bala. Una víctima fue trasladada al Hospital de la Universidad de Duke para recibir tratamiento, mientras que otras tres fueron declaradas fallecidas.
Las autoridades señalaron que los investigadores de la SBI continúan procesando la escena del crimen y entrevistando a testigos. Hasta el momento no se ha identificado públicamente a ningún sospechoso.

Three people were killed and at least one other was injured in a shooting in Prospect Hill, North Carolina, according to local authorities.
The Caswell County Sheriff's Office confirmed to the International Consortium of Journalists JMH that four people were shot and three of them died at the scene. The sheriff described the incident as an apparent domestic or family-related act of violence.
The North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) said it was asked by the Caswell County Sheriff's Office to assist in the investigation of the shooting, which occurred early Wednesday on Brooks Road in Prospect Hill.
Deputies arriving at the scene found multiple people suffering from gunshot wounds. One victim was transported to Duke University Hospital for treatment, while three others were pronounced dead.
Authorities said SBI crime scene investigators remain at the location collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. No suspect has been publicly identified.
Officials also said there is no ongoing threat to the general public and that the incident is believed to be confined to the residence where the shooting occurred.
