A mass shooting left six people dead in northern Michigan, the Michigan State Police (MSP) confirmed to the JMH Consortium on Friday.
MSP Lieutenant Ashley Miller told JMH that a 911 emergency call was received reporting a shooting at around 11:40 a.m. Friday near Lake City, northeast of Cadillac.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found three people dead. A fourth person, who had suffered critical injuries, was taken to a hospital, Miller said.
