Un influencer mexicano fue asesinado mientras realizaba una transmisión en vivo en redes sociales en la ciudad de Culiacán, estado de Sinaloa, informaron autoridades locales.
A Mexican social media influencer was shot dead while livestreaming on social media in the city of Culiacán, in the northwestern state of Sinaloa, local authorities said.
Gastelum y sus acompañantes vestían prendas de repartidores de Rappi y se encontraban frente a un restaurante de KFC, circunstancia que inicialmente generó confusión sobre sus identidades.
La policía acordonó el área y peritos forenses recolectaron evidencia balística mientras revisan imágenes de cámaras de seguridad para intentar identificar a los responsables.
Hasta el momento no se han reportado detenciones y los atacantes huyeron del lugar en la motocicleta.
Violencia en Sinaloa
El homicidio ocurre en medio de la violencia que afecta a Culiacán, considerada uno de los principales escenarios del enfrentamiento entre facciones rivales del crimen organizado por el control territorial.
Gastelum había sido mencionado previamente en un panfleto cuya autenticidad no ha sido verificada, en el que se le señalaba como presunto colaborador de una organización criminal conocida como Los Chapitos.

A Mexican social media influencer was shot dead while livestreaming on social media in the city of Culiacán, in the northwestern state of Sinaloa, local authorities said.
The shooting took place in the Tres Ríos district, one of the busiest areas of the state capital. According to preliminary information, César Gastelum, who had nearly 600,000 followers on TikTok and was known for posting comedy videos, was broadcasting live with friends outside a fast-food restaurant when two people riding a motorcycle approached and opened fire.
Gastelum and his companions were dressed as Rappi delivery workers and were outside a KFC restaurant, a circumstance that initially caused confusion regarding their identities.
Police secured the area while forensic specialists collected ballistic evidence and reviewed security camera footage in an effort to identify the attackers.
No arrests have been reported, and the two suspects fled the scene on the motorcycle.
Violence in Sinaloa
The killing comes amid continuing violence in Culiacán, a focal point of clashes between rival organized crime factions competing for territorial control.
Gastelum had previously been named in a pamphlet whose authenticity has not been independently verified, alleging he was linked to the criminal group known as Los Chapitos.

メキシコ北西部シナロア州クリアカンで、ソーシャルメディアのライブ配信中だったインフルエンサーのセサル・ガステルム氏が射殺されたと、地元当局が発表した。
事件は州都クリアカンの繁華街であるトレス・リオス地区で発生した。当局の暫定情報によると、TikTokで約60万人のフォロワーを持ち、コメディー動画で知られていたガステルム氏は、友人らとともにファストフード店の前でライブ配信を行っていたところ、オートバイに乗った2人組が接近し発砲した。
ガステルム氏と友人らはRappiの配達員のような服装をしており、KFC店舗前にいたことから、当初は身元を巡って混乱が生じた。
警察は現場を封鎖し、鑑識担当者が弾道証拠を収集するとともに、防犯カメラ映像の解析を進め、容疑者の特定を急いでいる。
現時点で逮捕者は確認されておらず、容疑者2人はオートバイで現場から逃走した。
シナロア州の暴力
今回の事件は、組織犯罪グループの対立による縄張り争いが続くシナロア州クリアカンで発生した。
ガステルム氏は以前、真偽が確認されていないビラの中で、「ロス・チャピトス」と呼ばれる犯罪組織への関与を示唆されていた。
