A woman attacked people with knives in Times Square. She killed a woman and was shot dead.

Times Square witnessed the deaths of two women this afternoon in a tragedy that left everyone bewildered. The incident occurred at 42nd Street and Seventh Avenue, an area usually crowded with tourists, and which was temporarily closed to the public.

A Latina-looking woman, somewhat overweight and wearing a casual outfit highlighted by a pink sweater, approached some random people carrying two knives and attacked them. She killed a woman and injured a man. A group of officers immediately caught up with her and ordered her to drop the weapons, after which they shot her. The woman was first struck with a Taser and, after threatening the officers, was shot twice.

Una mujer de apariencia latina, con unos kilos de más y con un look informal donde destacaba un suéter rosa, se acercó con dos cuchillos a unas personas al azar y las atacó. Mató a una mujer e hirió a un hombre. De inmediato, un grupo de agentes la alcanzó y le ordenó soltar las armas, tras lo que le dispararon. La mujer recibió primero una descarga de una pistola taser y, después de amenazar a los agentes, dos disparos.

ラテン系とみられる女性が、やや太めの体格で、ピンク色のセーターが目立つカジュアルな服装をして、2本のナイフを持って無差別に人々に近づき、襲撃した。女性1人を殺害し、男性1人を負傷させた。直ちに複数の警察官が女性に追いつき、武器を放すよう命じた後、発砲した。女性はまずテーザー銃による電気ショックを受け、その後、警察官を脅したため、2発の銃弾を受けた。
