Mehr als 4.300 Jugendliche aus Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca und Menorca werden an einer der größten spanischen Studien zur Prävention psychischer Probleme und suizidalen Verhaltens bei jungen Menschen und Jugendlichen teilnehmen.

Die Initiative verfolgt das Ziel, Prävention unmittelbar in den schulischen Bereich zu bringen und Jugendlichen Werkzeuge an die Hand zu geben, mit denen sie schwierige Situationen bewältigen und um Hilfe bitten können.

Die Schülerinnen und Schüler werden während der Unterrichtszeit an Präsenzworkshops teilnehmen. Das Programm befasst sich mit dem Erkennen und dem Umgang mit Emotionen, gesunden Strategien zur Bewältigung von seelischem Leid, der Identifizierung von Warnsignalen, dem Abbau der Stigmatisierung psychischer Probleme sowie der Suche nach professioneller Hilfe.

Spanien steht vor einer schwierigen Situation im Zusammenhang mit Suiziden unter Jugendlichen. More than 4,300 teenagers from Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca and Menorca will take part in one of Spain’s largest studies aimed at preventing mental health problems and suicidal behavior among young people and adolescents.

The initiative seeks to bring prevention directly into the school environment, providing teenagers with tools to cope with difficult situations and ask for help.

Students will participate in in-person workshops during school hours. The program will address the recognition and management of emotions, healthy strategies for coping with emotional distress, identification of warning signs, reduction of the stigma associated with mental health problems, and seeking professional help.

Spain is facing a difficult situation regarding adolescent suicide. The successive suicides of Angela (Benalmádena, Málaga), Sophie (Barcelona), Sara (Cintruénigo, Navarra) and Lizeth (Molina de Segura, Murcia) due to bullying and cyberbullying continue to shock the Iberian Peninsula. Más de 4.300 adolescentes de Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca y Menorca participarán en uno de los mayores estudios españoles destinados a prevenir problemas de salud mental y conductas suicidas en jóvenes y adolescentes.

More than 4,300 teenagers from Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca and Menorca will take part in one of Spain’s largest studies aimed at preventing mental health problems and suicidal behavior among young people and adolescents.

La iniciativa busca llevar la prevención directamente al ámbito escolar, proporcionando a los adolescentes herramientas para afrontar situaciones difíciles y pedir ayuda.

Los estudiantes participarán en talleres presenciales durante el horario lectivo. El programa abordará el reconocimiento y manejo de las emociones, estrategias saludables para afrontar el malestar, identificación de señales de alarma, reducción del estigma asociado a los problemas de salud mental y búsqueda de ayuda profesional.

España afronta una difícil situación en cuanto al suicidio adolescente.
