Pero la Organización Mundial Bullying Sin Fronteras recibió la alarma por parte del personal médico del Hospital Pediátrico Bambino Gesù de Roma. En ese importante nosocomio italiano, las consultas neuropsiquiátricas realizadas en el servicio de urgencias pasaron de 155 en 2011 a 1.675 en 2025.
Es un aumento de más del 1.000 por ciento.

In Italy, suicide is the third leading cause of death among young people aged 15 to 29, after traffic accidents and cancer.
But the World Bullying Without Borders Organization received an alarm from the medical staff at Rome's Bambino Gesù Children's Hospital. At this important Italian medical center, neuropsychiatric consultations in the emergency department increased from 155 in 2011 to 1,675 in 2025.
That represents an increase of more than 1,000 percent.
The increase is also evident specifically in cases involving self-harm, suicidal ideation and suicide attempts: these consultations rose from 12 in 2011 to 445 in 2025.
