VENEZUELAN FAMILY FOUND DEAD IN ARGENTINA: INVESTIGATORS PROBE FOUR MURDERS FOLLOWED BY SUICIDE
The victims were Evelyn Carolina Rivero Mejías, 41, her partner Mahatma Eyvind Soihit Meza, 44, and their three children, aged 10, 12 and 14.
MERLO, BUENOS AIRES, CARACAS, GENEVA.
The bodies of Evelyn Carolina Rivero Mejías, 41, her partner Mahatma Eyvind Soihit Meza, 44, and their three children, aged 10, 12 and 14, all Venezuelan nationals, were found inside a home in Mariano Acosta, in the district of Merlo, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina.
Investigators are examining the hypothesis that the father killed his partner and their three children before taking his own life. Jealousy is being considered as a possible motive. According to preliminary reports, the man had allegedly posted messages on social media expressing that he could not bear the thought of his partner leaving him.
The case is being investigated by Functional Prosecutor's Office No. 8 in Morón, under a preliminary classification of investigation into the causes of death.
POSSIBLE LINKS TO THE TREN DE ARAGUA
Investigators are also examining whether Mahatma Meza had any links to the Tren de Aragua.
Although reports indicate that he may have distanced himself from the organization, investigators are looking into his tattoos and the circumstances of the killings, reportedly carried out with a 9mm Sarsilmaz pistol. All the victims had a precise gunshot wound to the head.
Any alleged connection to the organization remains under investigation and has not been established.
Further updates will follow as verified information becomes available.

MERLO, BUENOS AIRES, CARACAS, GINEBRA.
Ampliaremos.
