The World Organization Bullying Without Borders confirms that 14-year-old Angela has taken her own life in Benalmádena, Málaga, as a result of the bullying she allegedly suffered at the IES Benalmádena high school.
Thin and shy:
Angela's parents told BSF that the girl was thin and shy, and for this reason, she was a target of school bullying.
The victim took her own life in the basement of her home in Benalmádena.
The National Police are investigating the incident as a possible suicide.
Bullying Without Borders has contacted the Andalusian Regional Government's Department of Education, which has not yet responded.
Today, before entering the IES Benalmádena high school, Angela's classmates remembered her with affection and sorrow.
When contacted by BSF, the administration of the Benalmádena Secondary School declined to comment.
